We are able to offer our customers throughout Europe a comprehensive range of services and supply them with high quality products directly from our parent plant in Essingen, from our subsidiaries or from our overseas steel mills. We stock stainless steels in six different grades and six specifications. They are always ready for delivery straight from our warehouse. In this way we can guarantee a reliable supply to our numerous buyers in Germany and abroad.

Billets are hot-rolled steel used for forging. This material has rounded edges to prevent cracks forming during the forging process. Furthermore, Scholz Edelstahl GmbH only purchases material which complies with the DIN 1014 standard.

Bar steel is a warm-rolled steel with the DIN 1013 tolerance. This material is usually available at lengths of approx. 6 meters.

Scholz Edelstahl GmbH supplies round steel with 90% purity for forging, edging and cold-shearing (max. 255 HB).

Bright steel

Bright steel is available peeled, drawn and ground. The main tolerances are DIN 668 (h11) and DIN 671 (h9) for peeled steel and j7 for ground steel.
