In 1961, Bikoma was founded as a producer of special machinery for the hygiene and paper industries and had already at that time a big aim: the development of know-how, technology and possibilities to agree to our customers' wishes and to realise them. Year after year, substantial progress was achieved and Bikoma established more and more on the global market. In 1997, the company was converted into Bikoma GmbH.

In 2011 as part of a new alliance with company Curt G. Joa Inc. / USA the legal company form was changed to Bikoma GmbH Spezialmaschinen.
